I started working in children’s services in my late teens and have now spent more than 20 years working across residential care, therapeutic practice, education, wellbeing, safeguarding, and organisational leadership.
My career began in frontline residential settings, before progressing into leadership, commissioning, participation, family support, therapeutic services, and service development roles across health, social care, and education. Over the years, I have worked with children, families, practitioners, schools, multidisciplinary teams, and complex systems, with a particular focus on emotional wellbeing, SEND, relational practice, and sustainable support.
As Co-founder and CEO of the Elysian Group, I lead organisations specialising in therapeutic education, wellbeing, professional training, and animal-assisted interventions. Alongside this, I support organisations, practitioners, families, and purpose-led businesses through consultancy, training, and collaborative development work.
My approach is grounded in practical experience. I believe good practice should be ethical, relational, realistic, and capable of holding up in everyday settings, not just on paper.
